Anti-theft

The best is to come to our premises with your vehicle and your trailer, we can then try the different models available to find the one that suits you best.

It is essential to place an anti-theft device on your trailer when you park it. Note that trailer theft is unfortunately very common.

There are different types of anti-theft:

• Coupling head

  The anti-theft device on the coupling head makes it possible to prevent the trailer from being hitched to a vehicle or from being unhitched from a vehicle. This type of anti-theft device does not prevent the trailer from being moved.

• Block Wheel

  The wheel locks are attached to the wheels to prevent the trailer from moving. Be careful on double axles, please lock both wheels or prevent unbolting the locked wheel.

• GPS

  There are modules that inform you of the position of your trailer, it does not prevent theft, but if it is well hidden you will be able to find it.

Whatever the model (s) chosen, an anti-theft device is never 100% secure. The objective is to make life difficult for thieves and therefore to delay it as much as possible in order to discourage it.
