Stable axle guidance for transport and agriculture Connecting rods, such as reaction and stabiliser rods, link the axles to the vehicle's chassis. They are needed for stable road holding, both for heavy trucks on the motorway and for agricultural vehicles on unpaved terrain. These parts absorb the large longitudinal and transverse forces that occur during braking, acceleration, and steering. OE-compliant replacement parts Due to constant load, the rubber-to-metal bushings in the rods can wear out, leading to play in the suspension. This results in an imprecise steering feel and increased tyre wear. The connecting rods from febi are OE-compliant, meaning they have the exact same dimensions and material properties as the original parts. To speed up maintenance, many febi rods are supplied as complete kits with pre-installed bushings and the correct mounting hardware.
