Protempo supplies the right sealing plugs from febi for this purpose, specifically intended for sealing openings in the engine block. These parts prevent oil or coolant from leaking when other parts are disassembled. Preventing leakage and contamination A missing or damaged sealing plug can lead to fluid loss and contamination of the engine compartment. This in turn can cause malfunctions or overheating. By preventively replacing an old plug with a new one, the engine block remains internally clean and the fluid system completely closed.
