Reliable data for the braking system A well-functioning ABS system prevents wheels from locking and is therefore essential for the safety of heavy trucks and agricultural machinery. The basis of this system is formed by the ABS sensors and ABS rings. These parts from febi continuously measure the speed of each wheel, so the control unit can intervene immediately in the event of a potential slip. Complete parts for a proper installation A sensor only works well if it is installed correctly. Protempo therefore often supplies ABS sensors complete with a sleeve for a precise fit and protection. For a full repair, sets with extra parts and grease are also available. This, combined with the right ABS sensor cables and brackets, ensures that the installation is done correctly from the start and that the parts are resistant to vibrations and dirt from the road or field. Control and connection of the system The data from the sensors is used to control the ABS control valves, which regulate the brake pressure for each wheel. For interference-free communication between the tractor and trailer, we also supply the necessary connectors, such as the ABS/EBS coil parking socket. This ensures the entire electronic braking system of the combination continues to function reliably.
