Lubrication and cooling of the turbocharger A turbocharger in a truck engine runs at extremely high speeds and is constantly exposed to high temperatures. A constant flow of clean oil is therefore necessary for lubrication and heat dissipation. febi supplies complete oil supply pipe kits, for both the supply and return flow, that fit precisely and protect the engine from expensive turbo damage. Targeted cooling in the engine block Not only the turbo, but also the pistons need targeted cooling to last. Under the heavy load of road transport, the underside of the piston crown is cooled with a targeted oil jet. The oil spray nozzles from febi provide the correct amount and direction of this jet, which prevents overheating of the piston and engine damage. Pipework for the transmission The gearbox oil also needs to stay at the right temperature to function properly. Protempo supplies the specific hose for the gearbox oil cooler. This hose is resistant to the pressure and temperature of the transmission oil and prevents leaks that could compromise the gearbox's operation. Precise fit for installation This pipework must be able to withstand engine vibrations and temperature changes without leaking. The parts from febi are OE-compliant, which means they have exactly the same dimensions and material properties as the original parts. This allows the pipes and hoses to fit directly, which reduces installation time and provides a reliable seal.
