If the belt breaks, a truck will stop immediately on the roadside and an agricultural machine will stop in the middle of a field. Standard and double V-belts A specific type of belt is needed depending on the drive system. Our range includes the standard 'V-belt' for most common applications on truck and tractor engines. For drives that require more power or where the belt runs over multiple pulleys, there is the 'Double V-belt'. Importance of correct tension A V-belt wears due to heat, dirt, and constant load. This can cause it to stretch, which leads to slip and reduced performance of the driven ancillaries. The febi belts are OE-compliant, which means the length and profile are exactly correct.
