Leak-proof steering systems for heavy equipment The hydraulic steering system of a truck or agricultural machine is constantly under pressure. A leak in the steering box or power steering pump not only leads to oil loss, but also to reduced steering precision and unsafe situations. Protempo therefore supplies a specific range of febi seals to reliably seal these systems. Complete sets for overhaul and repair Complete gasket sets are available for a thorough overhaul of a steering box. These contain all the necessary shaft seals and sealing rings to reseal the internal parts. Because these febi parts are OE-compliant, they have the exact dimensions and material properties as the original parts, which results in a leak-proof installation. Specific for kingpins and pumps In addition to complete sets, we also supply individual seals for specific repairs. This includes the sealing rings for kingpins, which must keep out mud and water, or a single gasket for a power steering pump. This way you only replace what is necessary, without compromising on quality. From shaft seal to sealing plug The range is supplemented by general shaft seals and specific parts such as sealing plugs for oil filler openings. These small but important elements prevent contamination of the oil and keep the entire system sealed, whether it is used in the transport sector or in heavy earthmoving.
