Hinges and locks for the bodywork Truck doors and bonnets are used daily and must function reliably. Protempo supplies febi hinges that allow the bonnet and doors to move smoothly. For secure locking, there are mechanisms such as Bonnet Catches and Cab Lock Mechanisms. These parts make sure that the cab is properly closed and the bonnet does not open unexpectedly while driving. Control cables for door handles and locks A lock only works with a good connection. That is why the febi range also includes control cables for door handles and lockers. These cables convert the pulling force of the handle into movement at the lock. Due to frequent use, they can stretch or break. A replacement with a cable of the correct length and with the correct nipples is then necessary to restore access to the cab or storage space. Body parts and specific mounting In addition to moving parts, we also supply body elements such as side screens and mudguards. These parts are exposed to vibrations and weather conditions. Correct installation is therefore important. The range therefore includes specific bolts for the cab suspension and rubber mounts for mudguard brackets. These rubber parts absorb vibrations, which prevents cracks from forming in the brackets.
