The connection between spring and chassis The spring bracket is a load-bearing part of the suspension. This component connects the leaf spring pack directly to the chassis and is responsible for the correct transfer of vertical forces. On heavy trucks and agricultural machinery, which often operate on unpaved surfaces, this connection must absorb heavy impacts and vibrations without failing. A crack in the bracket is a direct safety risk. When replacing, an exact fit is required to maintain axle alignment.
